Prof. Dr. Cüneyt Karabuda

He was born in 1967 in Eskişehir. He graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1990. He started his PhD in 1992 at İstanbul University Faculty of Dentistry Oral Implantology Department. He received his title of associate professor in 2004 and professor in 2009. He was the head of Oral Implantology Department in 2014. He’s a board member and secretary general of Turkish Society of Oral Implantology and a member of Turkish Dental Association. He’s the associate editor of Oral Implantology Journal, reviewer at Academic Dental Journal, reviewer at Turkey’s Clinics (Türkiye Klinikleri) Journal, reviewer at Journal of Periodontology and reviewer at İstanbul University Journal of Faculty of Dentistry. He has more than 25 papers published in international scientific journals under the scope of SCI expanded. He’s delivered more than 90 lectures and presentations at national and international congresses. He’s the translation editor of the book ‘Dental İmplant Surgery’ and author of the chapters “Oral İmplantolojide Görüntüleme Teknikleri” (Imaging Techniques in Oral Implantology) and “Oral İmplantolojide İleri Cerrahi Uygulamalar” (Advanced Surgical Procedures in Oral Implantology) in the book titled Periodontoloji ve İmplantoloji (Periodontolohy and Implantology). He delivers graduate and postgraduate courses on oral implantology. He’s practising at his private clinic since April 2019.
