CURRENT APPROACHES TO THE SOLUTION OF GRAFT-FREE IMPLANT SUPPORTED FIXED PROSTHESIS IN SEVERED RESORBED JAW

Resorption after tooth extraction and trauma in the jaw bones is inevitable. Thanks to the advanced surgical techniques and bone graft applications developed, implant-supported fixed prosthesis can be made for our patients who do not have sufficient bone. However, these advanced surgical techniques cause both a long treatment period and high treatment costs. They also cause a second wound in the donor area and patient complaints. Implant surgery without the use of grafts, which have been developed as an alternative in recent years, they provide both a faster treatment time and lower treatment costs. In addition, a more comfortable healing process can be provided to these patients with a fixed temporary prosthesis.

In this conferances, techniques and current approaches used in making implant-supported fixed prosthesis without graft such as All on 4, Zygoma implant and superiostal implant will be explained.
