Doç. Dr. Cenker Koyuncuoğlu

He graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Dentistriy in 2004. In the same year, he started his PhD at Periodontology Department and completed it in 2010.  After completing his military service at Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy from 2011 to 2012, he worked as faculty member at “İstanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry’’ where he also held administrative offices as administrative director and vice-dean. He received his title of Associate Professor in 2021. He’s been serving as a member of the board of Turkish Anti-Smoking Association since 2015. He’s a member of Turkish Society of Periodontology (TPD), European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and Osseointegration Association (OSSEDER). His professional interests include regenerative periodontal and mucogingival surgeries, minimally invasive surgeries, aesthetic crown lengthening surgeries, rational use of antibacterials, surgical procedures in dental implantology and peri-implantitis treatments. Wİth Prof. Dr. Özen Tuncer, he was the co-editor of the book titled “Periodontoloji Akıl Notları” published in 2021 by Güneş Medical Publishing House. He has published more than 30 scientific articles in national and international journals. He’s married with two children.
