How can we use Ni-Ti devices more safely and effectively in clinical practice?

Ni-Ti alloy was first described by H.M Walia et al. in 1988. Then, with its outstanding features such as superelasticity and resistance to torsion forces, it has been used very commonly in endodontics practice. Although they have significant superiority compared to stainless steel devices, problems such as device breakage, deformations they cause in the form of canal can always be encountered. Therefore, there are constantly new developments to improve the safety and effectiveness of Ni-Ti devices. These developments were related to mainly design, metallurgy and kinematic aspects. In recent years, the concept of minimally invasive has become prominent and Ni-Ti systems compliant with this concept have been introduced. In this conference; I will discuss how the efficiency and safety of Ni-Ti device systems can be improved at clinics and advantages and disadvantages of Ni-Ti systems compared to one another.
