Clinical Details for Immediate Implant Placement and Immediate Loading: Prosthetic Perspective

Dental implants have been used successfully for many years in the treatment of tooth loss in dentistry. In order to affect the duration of treatment, dental implants can be performed immediately following the extraction of the teeth, and in some cases, they can be placed following the recovery after the extraction of the teeth. Implant supported prostheses is examined in 4 groups in terms of treatment period. These are; immediate loading protocol, early loading protocol, conventional loading protocol and delayed loading protocol.

The increasing quality of life of the society and the easier access of people to the information require single-stage surgeries in dental implantology and minimizing the time between implant surgery and prosthetic treatment.

In this presentation, details of the immeadiate implant placement protocol and the immediate loading protocol will be discussed with cases in dental implantology.
