FACTORS AFFECTING CLINICAL SUCCESS IN PORCELAIN LAMINATE VENEERS

In anterior tooth restorations, the patient demands aesthetic expectations in addition to the function. Porcelain laminate veneers are restorations that provide these expectations of patients with minimal preparation in dental hard tissue. The clinical success of porcelain laminate veneers, which requires accurate planning and a harmonious teamwork, is quite high. In order to achieve this success in the clinic, many steps such as making the necessary preliminary preparations in the tooth, adequate preparation, selection of the appropriate ceramic material and sensitive cementation process must be done correctly. In our speech, these factors affecting clinical success will be discussed.
